Cancellation Policy / Right of Withdrawal

If you are an entrepreneur (see Section 1.2 of our Terms and Conditions) within the meaning of § 14 German Civil Code (BGB), the right of withdrawal does not apply. For consumers (any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly not attributable to their commercial or independent professional activity), the following applies:

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, telephone, or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you incur any fees as a result of this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day you notify us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Unless otherwise agreed, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts:

  • For the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for which an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.

  • For the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded.

  • For the delivery of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time of the contract, which cannot be delivered before 30 days after the conclusion of the contract, and whose current value depends on market fluctuations beyond the entrepreneur's control.

  • For the delivery of newspapers, magazines, or periodicals, except for subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely, unless otherwise agreed, for contracts:

  • For the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal was removed after delivery.

  • For the delivery of goods that, due to their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.

  • For the delivery of audio or video recordings or software in a sealed package, if the seal has been removed after delivery.

Return Instructions

Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Return the goods preferably in the original packaging with all accessories and packaging components. Use additional protective packaging if necessary. If the original packaging is no longer available, ensure adequate protection against transport damage with suitable packaging.

Note: Compliance with the packaging instructions above is not a prerequisite for exercising the right of withdrawal.

Compensation for Diminished Value Upon Withdrawal

In case of withdrawal, the customer must compensate for any loss of value of the goods if the loss results from handling the goods in a manner not necessary to check their nature, characteristics, and functioning, and if we have informed the customer of their right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 246a § 1 Paragraph 2 Sentence 1 No. 1 of the Introductory Act to the German Civil Code (EGBGB).
